Defend the path against waves of enemies in this free tower defense game. Build and upgrade 10 tower types (up to level 5), unleash Strike, Freeze and Overcharge commands, and survive all 40 waves. No install needed — plays right in your browser on desktop or mobile.
Pulse TD is a free tower defense game that runs entirely in your web browser — no download, no app store, no account. Set in a glowing neon-geometric world, you place towers along a path to stop waves of enemies before they reach your base. With 10 tower types across 5 upgrade levels, 10 enemy types, 5 maps, 40 waves plus an endless mode, and 3 tactical commands, there is plenty of depth for strategy game fans.
Pulse fires cheap single-target shots; Sniper hits hard at extreme range and ignores armor; Frost slows enemies down; Cannon deals splash damage to groups; Arc chains lightning between clustered enemies; Venom applies poison damage over time; Railgun pierces every enemy along a line; Laser ramps up damage the longer it stays on one target; Amp is a support tower that amplifies nearby towers; and Generator produces gold over time. Each tower has a clear role, and combining them well is the heart of the game.
Beyond tower placement, you can intervene directly with three commands: Strike bombards a point of your choosing, Freeze heavily slows every enemy for 4 seconds, and Overcharge doubles the fire rate of all towers for 8 seconds. Commands cost no gold and run on cooldowns, so knowing when to spend them — a boss wave, a breakthrough about to happen — is a skill of its own.
Early on, place Pulse towers at corners where enemies stay in range the longest. As gold builds up, add a Frost tower to slow the flow and high-damage towers to finish targets. Snipers counter armored tanks, Cannons and Arcs melt swarms, and Venom shuts down self-healing regenerators. Whether to stack upgrades on one tower or spread out more towers is a constant, interesting decision. See the strategy guide for details.
Pulse TD supports both mouse and touch controls, so it works on PCs, phones, and tablets. Your best scores, highest waves, and clear stars are saved automatically in your browser. After the page loads, the game runs fully offline-style — no data about your play session is sent anywhere.
